The best Black Friday deals are officially here, and if you’re looking to score big on tech, Best Buy is the place to shop. Best Buy sells a wide array of technology, including an extensive range of electronics, home appliances, gaming consoles, and kitchen gadgets, which could all make for great gifts this holiday season.

Traditionally, Black Friday has been the biggest shopping day of the holiday season, but in recent years we’ve seen Black Friday deals crop up earlier in November, and that has certainly been the case this year with Best Buy’s Black Friday deals. Amazon’s Prime Day events and Cyber Monday also have started rivaling the savings we see on Black Friday. Last year, retailers saw $8.9 billion in revenue from Black Friday sales, but that increased to $10.7 billion on Cyber Monday. This year, we expect both days to offer great savings for those looking to stick to a budget for holiday shopping.

Best Buy’s product lineup covers some of the most sought-after holiday gifts. Here are some products we’re keeping a close eye on today.

A few of last year’s best-sellers included the Nintendo Switch and Oculus VR headset, and Best Buy offered deals on both items. The Nintendo Switch offer included a bundle with the console, Joy-Con controllers, digital game download, and a three-month membership to Nintendo Switch Online. Last year, buying an Oculus VR headset came with a $50 Best Buy gift card, and it’s possible we’ll see deals that come with a gift card again this year.

Other items we’re keeping a close eye on during Best Buy’s Black Friday Sale are vacuums and small home appliances like KitchenAid stand mixers, air fryers, coffee machines, juicers, and air purifiers.

Best Buy may also be a great option if you’re looking to save on large appliances like Samsung and LG refrigerators, washing machines, and dryers.

Best Buy Black Friday Shipping and Return Policies

Not only do prices change during Black Friday sales, but so do shipping and return policies. Retailers are still dealing with shipping and supply issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, so it’s smart to get shopping early this year with post-Thanksgiving sales. Best Buy has several options to get your items to you in a timely manner, and it has again lengthened its holiday return policy this year so your gift recipients still have time to return or exchange gifts when necessary.

When it comes to shipping your online Best Buy purchases to your home or gift recipients, you’ll likely have several options. Many items ship for free at Best Buy. They’ll be labeled as such on the product details page with an estimated arrival date that corresponds to the ZIP code you enter. Best Buy also offers many pickup options. Curbside pickup at Best Buy locations is free for all orders, and many items will be ready to pick up an hour after you place your order. You can also opt to ship your online order to your local Best Buy store for free to pick up at a time that’s convenient for you. Most of these orders arrive at your store within three to seven business days. The ship-to-store option excludes some small items like music, DVDs, and video games.

Adding to the convenience of online shopping at Best Buy during Black Friday, the store offers alternate pickup locations. These alternate pickup locations include UPS stores, FedEx stores, CVS pharmacies, and Dollar General stores. Orders shipped to these select sites can offer a convenient location and time for shoppers to pick up online orders without worrying about items sitting unattended on doorsteps.

Like last year, Best Buy has extended its return policy for the holidays, so any items bought between Oct. 24 and Dec. 31, 2022, can be returned through Jan. 14, 2023. Last year, a few exceptions applied to items that included a third-party contact like cell phones and mobile hotspots. It also didn’t apply to AppleCare monthly plans or any holiday merchandise like artificial Christmas trees, lights, or other decorations. Best Buy accepts returns both in-store and by courier service, with customers shipping items back via a prepaid UPS shipping label.
