It might seem like buying factory-direct may not be the best way to save money on Black Friday and Cyber Monday, but it’s not always true. Dyson is defying that notion by taking $200 off its Dyson Pure Cool Link tower TP02 purifier fan, dropping the price from $499.99 to $299.99. It’s also the lowest price for this model by $60 compared to other retailers.

Despite the higher-end price tag, these fans from Dyson are very popular. Beyond its sleek styling, this tower fan uses technology, called an air multiplier, which is different from a traditional fan. The fan blades are hidden in the base and pull air in that in turn is forced through the vertical structure and out into the room. The result is a quiet fan that can produce a large amount of air movement, but with no visible moving blades. The only movement comes if you turn on oscillation. That means it’s pretty safe to have around kids and pets.
But it’s also two products in one, with a built-in air purifier with a HEPA filter. Sensors on board can detect changes in air quality and automatically switch on the air purifier and increase the airflow of the fan until conditions normalize. It also has WiFi, so you can control your fan remotely using an app, or by voice commands over an Amazon Echo device. There is also an automatic night mode that dims the display and reverts all the functions to the quietest settings.
Dyson ships for free and buyers have up to January 26th, 2023 to make free returns. The company also offers monthly payment options through Affirm. You can also check out other direct deals from Dyson that they are offering for Black Friday week on its deals page.
